For the Western reader it’s sometimes difficult to get past his sometimes rigid understanding of gender roles, the family unit, sexuality and religiosity.

Utilizing herbs and minerals, proper nutrition and purification and, above all, affirmative ways of living, Ayurveda treats not just the ailment but the whole person and emphasizes prevention of disease to avoid the need for cure. If you are even a little ‘witchy’ this book will become your robet.
